[Text] Because you’re my friend, and I care for you.
“……kilometers? Um. I used to be good,” he’d been on his junior high track team, until personal preference and flat feet and bad knees had driven him to the swimming pool. He fiddled with his spoon, then shrugged a shoulder. “Maybe about….six? Seven? An hour, I mean. I used to be able to do ten, but…college happened.”
Not that he minded. His interests had just gone in different directions. It had just been glaringly obvious when he’d tried to run from Yongguk’s “friends.” He didn’t want that to happen, not ever again.
“I can start right away, and of course I don’t mind you teaching me, why would I mind? I mean, I know you-” He flashed the older man a shy smile, “-and you’ve always been nice. That’ll make it easier than going to a complete stranger.”
"Hmm, that’s not too bad," he gave a slow nod. Stamina was extremely important when learning Hapkido, or any other type of martial arts for that matter. "You want to build your stamina back up. How often do you work out? There are certain workouts that you can do to build both muscle, cardio, and stamina at the same time. If you do those, the process will go by much quicker than it would if you trained for each one of those separately. However, it is more difficult to train in all three at ones, but it’s not impossible," Yunho warned, wanting to make sure the young man understood exactly what he was saying.
"If you have your own workout routine, you can stick to it, though I would probably suggest making some tweaks if you tell me exactly what you do. If you don’t have your own routine, you can always come workout with me," pausing slightly, the word ‘college’ rung in Yunho’s mind. Did the boy even have time to workout? His schedule seemed packed with school and work.
Yunho’s features softened bashful smile, his own lips tugging into a soft chuckle, “Well, thank you, Junghwan-ah. Though I can’t really say I’ll be the nicest when training?” Now, Yunho had no intentions of being mean, but he knew he had to be firm if they did decide to go with the training.

[Text] Okay, that’s good. And yeah, it is. But drinking alone at home can get lonely.
[Text] Yeah, it is. As long as your safe, Jae.
jaejoong-stretto said: [text] yes [text] no i lied [text] you dont [text] i dont need help i can walk im just a lazy fuck
[Text] Are you sure you’ll get home safe though? Did you go drink alone?
jaejoong-stretto said: [text] oh gee i dunno maybe cause its so much outta your way and not your responsibility and stupid and im not gonna give you anything for it
[Text] The last time I checked, anyone that’s under the influence that asks me for help is my responsibility. I’m not going to just leave you there if you need someone to make sure you safely get home. And I never expected anything in return. Do I seem like that type of person?
jaejoong-stretto said: [text] you are? why? am i being funny? [text] woulda really come and get me? isnt it a pain the ass tho? carrying someone like that?
[Text] Yes, I am. If you were being funny, I wouldn’t be serious.
[Text] If you have no one else, then yes, I would. Why would helping out a friend ever be a pain in the ass?
jaejoong-stretto said: [text] ohhhhh~ you are such an enabler~ rewarding me for being irresponsible? or is this responsible of me?
Yunho stared at the text confused, unsure of how to take it, or rather unsure of where exactly Jaejoong’s sobriety level was.
[Text] Yah. = =* I’m being serious here.
jaejoong-stretto said: [text] hmmmmmmm is this the number for my taxi service????
[Text] Only if you’re drunk, are you?

13) A Friendly Kiss on the Cheek:
"Sungje-ah!" Yunho grinned brightly at the sight of the young man, wrapping his arms tightly around the smaller. Sungje exclaimed a ‘Hyung’, returning the hug with no hesitation before make some joke about Yunho’s attempt to bake the last time they hung out.
Pulling out a freshly baked red velvet, Sungje offered to the older man with a boyish grin, one that tugged Yunho’s heart. The younger man sometimes reminded him so much of his own sibling. “Aigoo,” he chuckled warmly, accepting the cupcake as he leaned down to peck the other’s cheek. “Thanks, Sungje-ah, you always make the best cupcakes!”
